One of the most fun things to do is to spread out the candidate bricks on the ground and pick out which ones to use and where. Some of my very favorites I mortared in a prominent spot by the back door. They all cried out "Choose me1"
I've pretty much run out of patio space... thanks to these "wall entries" I know what my next project will be! Will have to wait till after the swap here in June. Besides it is best to do this work with 100°+ heat indexes!
