I found a brick in my backyard that has L F B W k s louisville on it and i live in jeffersonville indiana I have had this brick for numerous of years and just thought i would try to find out some info on it. I don,t know how it got into my backyard but it is cool.
i found a brick in the top of the mountain that has LFBWKS louisville.i found that brick and in 3meters away i also found a german silver 24 spoon with initial F.. here in the Philippines.. leifdulce@yahoo.com
i would like some help please. I have 3 bricks that were located in the same area: "Mount Savage Stoker", "Ashland Crown" and a L LFB Works, Louisville". could you tell me what these were used for?
My husband was cleaning a fence row and saw this brick on the ground. He brought it home and asked me to get on line and find out who LFB WKS was,thinking it was the name of a person.We will clean it up and keep it with the rest of our antique collection.
I also recently found a few LFB WKS DERBY bricks in my yard in a small town in Ohio called Harrisburg. They look very old. My first assumption was that they came from a small nearby village called Derby, but decided to go online and i found this blog. Louisville Fire Works still exists, so I am going to write them and see what i can find out.
I found a LFB WKS Louisville brick today on an abandoned Pennsylvania Railroad Branch in Westmoreland County, PA today. I also found a STAR brick and two SWANK brinks. The grade for the railroad branch was built entirely of slag, cinders and other steel mill waste.

We bought a house that was built in 1931 and I found several of the LAB WKS louieville vintage bricks in my back yard and they are in very good condition.
I just found this break around the area where I live in Boston Massachusetts does anybody know how much you'll be worth if it's been around for 200-plus years
Just came across some bricks with "LFB WKS No A" near Franklin, TN. The property is adjacent to Little East Fork in an area that was heavily logged and had mills near/along the creek of BEF.
This blog is mostly about the bricks in the wall I am building behind my house on Lexington Ave. in Newport, although many pictures are of friends and places. Enjoy.

I am staying in a place that there is a fireplace built out of these type of bricks. The L. F. B. VKS Louisville bricks.
